Bay Street Grill in Florence

Excellent food. They had wonderful gluten free options including clam chowder and fish and chips!

Literally the best. The calamari, prawns, and oyster shooters exceeded all my expectations! I highly recommend the sampler appetizer

Ordered a special of parmesan halibut and chips. Got garlic chips. Asked for them to crispy and didn't get crispy. The coleslaw was sickening sweet. That out of the way, the halibut was very good. The flavor of the fries was still good and I ate them anyway. Service was good. Overall interior is a bit dated but it works well in this community. Overall, good meal and good experience.

The bay street grille is a no frills pub grub establishment in a touristy spot. We tried the chowder (slightly too salty), crab cakes and Cobb salad (which was huge). Ale was good too.

Unfortunately the whole family was disappointed, normally I don't rate but the food was not good at all. The service was ok, the waitress was really nice.

Good food. Garlic fries overpowering. Pleasant service.

Had a great meal. We were passing by and saw the plates of those dining outside. We enjoyed our dinner more here than one of the spendier places down the street. My fish & chips was very good and the coleslaw was the best I’ve had! Friendly staff (harder to find these days) good food and a pretty good beer selection as well. We’ll be back!

Clam strips are delicious!!!

I got fish and chips with a cup of clam chowder. The fish was great but the fries and clam chowder were horrible. But the reason I gave them 4 stars is because the customer service was amazing, our waitress was really polite and checked on us enough. It was my daughter's birthday and the waitress made sure it was a great experience for her. Would definitely come back but just not get fries or clam chowder.

The oyster shooters were delicious!!!! So fresh and flavorful!!The drinks list was also pretty good too. Definitely a good place to chill.Staff were friendly and helpful.

I'm not gonna lie, I was disappointed with the Bay Street Grill. Though the atmosphere is relaxing and fun, the food is the complete opposite.It's mostly a bar, since they have a wide selection of drinks but do not put any effort into their food. The food has no seasoning, completely bland.I do not recommend Bay Street Grill for a dinner, but it would be a nice place to go out for drinks.

Stopped in for dinner here. Friendly waitstaff! I had the southwest burger with sweet potato fries. And my hubby ordered the Cod fish and chips! A little long wait on the food but it was hot and tasty. My hubby loved the coleslaw! Price was great and would come back again.

Worst food I think we have ever had...seriously horrible...don't waste your money!!!

Friendly staff with a sleepy little coastal vibe and charming, local feel. Right on the main strip with outdoor, sidewalk seating. The sole problem I couldn't get past their poorly-washed glasses though... I ordered a drink in a highball and it looked like it hadn't seen a proper scrubbing in many cycles. I thought of asking for a different glass, but I could see from the bar that the glasses in-waiting wouldn't improve my odds. I settled for wiping the schmutz off the rim and hoping the alcohol killed the rest.

Delicious! Food was fantastic and the service was great! The fish and chips was really fresh and good, great salad and delicious garlic bread served with every dish. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely awful dinner. Should have just refused it and left. Will never go back again.

Restaurant was clean and attractive, atmosphere was good. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was disappointing. My wife's clam and shrimp chowder was bland as were my crab cakes. We both noted that the texture was what we expected but flavor was lacking. All in all disappointed, we probably won't return.

The food was OUTSTANDING!! We've lived here for 9 yrs, and somehow have missed coming here. We will now be frequent customers. Calamari steak strips, lightly breaded, was perfectly cooked! Sweet potato fries were out of this world!!! Totally reccomend!!!

Dinner here was great. I had the pasta Alfredo with salmon. Service was great as well. Nice place to eat and hang out.

Enjoyed our visit on a chilly and rainy night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our steaks were very good - really hit the spot. Ambience was pleasant and comfortable. We'll be back, for sure.

Really nice restaurant with friendly service and yummy food. Sandwiches were very tasty and our mixed drinks were nice and strong, but not overpowering. We will be back next time we visit the coast.
